Separation of display module is a screen restoration, during which the damaged outer glass is separated from the working matrix and replaced with a new one. This repair can be a more cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire display module if the image and sensor are working properly.

This price is lower than usual because the craftsman is currently undergoing practical training in the technology of separation of display modules.
Important: is an educational work format, so a successful result is not guaranteed. When separating the damaged glass, there is a risk of damage to the good matrix, which may require a complete replacement of the display module.
The work is carried out only after a preliminary review and clear agreement of these risks with the client. There is no guarantee specifically for the successful preservation of the matrix during separation.
When is display separation possible?
Separation is considered when mainly the upper glass is damaged, and the main components of the module remain intact.
- There are cracks or chips on the glass.
- The image is clear, without spots, streaks and flickering.
- The sensor reacts over the entire screen area.
- There are no traces of liquid getting inside the display.
- The matrix has no mechanical damage.
It is possible to finally determine the possibility of separation only after inspection and testing of the display module.
When is a complete module replacement required?
Separation will not help if the matrix itself or the sensor layer is damaged. A complete replacement of the display module is usually recommended if the screen does not display an image, has black spots, colored bands, strong flickering or does not respond to touches.
The wizard will explain the difference between the options and agree on the solution before starting work. Additional work is not performed without the client's consent.
How is the separation of the display module?
- Diagnostics. We check the image, the sensor and the general condition of the module.
- Dismantling. Carefully remove the display from the phone.
- Separation of glass. Damaged glass is separated from the matrix on special equipment.
- Cleaning and lamination. We remove the remaining glue, install new glass and laminate the module.
- Air removal. The module is being processed to eliminate bubbles.
- Final check. We test the image, sensor and stability of work.
